It’s been awesome hearing the stories behind all of these amazing #1 songs, straight from the writers themselves! Over the past couple days, Twelve 3 South recorded ten songwriters that will be performing at the festival. They each sang a stripped down version of the hits they wrote with simply their voices and their guitars. The raw style reflects the way the songs began in their inception and brings listeners behind the scenes, revealing the stories of how each were created. Best of all, it’s on video too! (Three Hat Media)
We can’t wait for you to hear (and see) it! So how can you get in on the action? Right now, you can start by following @CharlestonSongwritersFest on Instagram and Facebook. (Links below)
From there, the developers will soon be creating a website and YouTube channel where you can begin to meet the songwriters behind the hit songs and follow along leading up to the festival. Be sure and start planning your trip. It’s going to be a weekend to remember!
The LP will be available for purchase wherever you get your music, as well as at the festival itself.
